Water

Water Storage	5 containers (15 gal)	Stacking water containers. They arrive empty and you sanitize and fill them at home, using the bleach below.
AquaBrick containers can combine into a large stack, or be tucked away in smaller corners. Each container holds 3 gallons, weighs 27lbs filled, and measures 9"x18"x6". Every kit comes with five bricks per person, which hold 15 gallons of water per person once filled. This supports regional recommendations of one gallon of water per person, per day for 14 days, with a small amount extra. Containers ship empty; sanitize them before filling, and plan to refresh the water periodically.
Food-Grade Disinfecting Bleach	11 oz	Liquid bleach for sanitizing water containers.
Sanitizing containers prior to filling is an important part of proper water storage. Clorox Disinfecting Bleach is free from fragrances and suitable for sanitizing food contact surfaces.
Water Spigot	1	Spigot for dispensing water from containers.
Ventless spigot design allows air to enter the container while water leaves, keeping pressures balanced. This enables smooth pouring without creating another hole in the container.
Water Purification Tablets	100	Aquatabs water purification tablets with 4 year shelf life.
Aquatabs NaDCC formula is the standard emergency water purification solution worldwide, and is certified by the World Health Organization. 100 Tablets can treat up to 50 gallons of water for drinking.
Sawyer Water Filter	1	Gravity filtration system for removing bacteria, protozoa and microplastics.
Sawyer hollow-fiber membrane filter removes 99.99999% of bacteria (such as salmonella and E. coli) and 99.9999% of protozoa (such as giardia and cryptosporidium) down to 0.1 micron. Provides a physical filtration option that complements the chemical purification tablets, and can be backflushed and reused for a long service life. Gravity bag design allows easy filtering of one gallon of water at a time.

Compressed Sawdust	½ gallon	Organic material for use with toilet system.
Compressed sawdust used as layering material in the two-bucket toilet system to control odors and prevent pest issues. Adding a small amount of water to compressed pellets causes them to turn back into sawdust, greatly increasing usable volume.
