Our Mission
Our local communities are underprepared for what could be the most severe natural disaster in the history of the United States. The looming threat sometimes feels too large to address, but the answer isn't to panic. The answer is to prepare.
Our single-minded focus is to help as many households as possible prepare for disaster. We take on as much of the work for you as we can, and walk you through the rest, all while keeping your monthly and total cost as low as possible.
Our Story
Growing up in Portland, I have long heard about how we are "overdue for The Big One". As an adult this drove me to get my own household prepared as well as help others do the same. These experiences have impressed upon me the importance of preparing before disaster strikes. In this case, an ounce of prevention is worth far more than a pound of cure.
Putting together a proper emergency kit is something that anyone can do. What helping my neighbors, friends, and family has taught me is that it is also something very few people want to do. Between researching every item needed, reading reviews, checking prices and actually buying everything you need, it can be a lot of work. Add in how daunting and emotionally draining the subject is, and it's no wonder that putting together emergency supplies often languishes at the bottom of to-do lists. I set out to solve this problem for everyone who doesn't want to make "prepping" their latest hobby.
What emerged is our six-month preparedness product. We take care of selecting and sourcing the equipment and supplies, getting the best prices in bulk on the products that will keep you and your family safe when you need them most. By spreading out your mental and financial investment over six months, we replace overwhelming with approachable. We're here to help, and would love to get this off your to-do list.
